Supporting Multi-national Tech Client’s Growth Through Integrated Workplace Services

ISS has expanded its relationship and scope with an enterprise technology client headquartered in Texas, providing integrated facilities management (IFM) and hospitality-led food services to sites recently added to the client’s portfolio across Europe, Asia and the Americas — with the majority of the expansion in the U.S.

Building on an established global partnership, we are creating a consistent workplace experience across seven new U.S. locations through support and back-of-house facility services and a refreshed food program via our culinary division Guckenheimer.

Creating Consistency Across a Growing Client Portfolio

As organizations like this multi-national technology company evolve through acquisition, creating a seamless employee experience across global locations becomes increasingly important for company culture and employee satisfaction. By extending our IFM services to the client’s recently acquired locations, we help standardize their workplace experience strategy, enhance employee satisfaction and reduce operational complexity.

Steve Quick, CEO at ISS North America and Guckenheimer said, “Today's workplace is about more than buildings and basic services. It's about creating places where people want to be. By bringing together hospitality-led food experiences, technology-enabled facilities service and a deep understanding of workplace culture, we're helping our client create environments that support engagement, collaboration and performance across the entire portfolio.”

Innovation and Hospitality

ISS is combining technology-enabled facilities management with hospitality-inspired services designed to encourage greater in-person work and foster a stronger sense of community.

Leveraging ISS innovations including digital ordering platforms and data-driven service delivery puts workplace experience in the hands of employees — from the ease of booking meeting rooms to logging a maintenance request through an app.

At a new Silicon Valley location, employees will benefit from a refreshed café experience delivered by Guckenheimer, featuring globally inspired dining concepts, plant-forward meals and ordering technology designed to make workplace dining more convenient and accessible. Features such as low-carbon menu options, food waste reduction initiatives and locally sourced ingredients support the client’s environmental goals.

Built for Employee Engagement

To mark the launch and showcase the future of workplace experience at the client sites, ISS and Guckenheimer hosted two days of employee events at the Silicon Valley location. Team members experienced the new program firsthand through Guckenheimer culinary tastings and ISS workplace tech support demonstrations — meeting the Placemakers who will help deliver their workplace services, and learn about the services that will help them make the most of the workplace.

The refreshed workplace café featured pop-up events with Chef Amanda Freitag, Guckenheimer’s Culinary Ambassador and renowned TV personality. Together with our on-site chef team, Amanda talked food, shared hospitality insights and dished up free tastings of her corn custard recipe, highlighting the fresh, seasonal and locally sourced menus that define the new food program.

ISS’ expanded scope reinforces the company’s position as a global workplace experience partner capable of delivering integrated facility management solutions across multiple countries and service lines, helping clients as they scale their businesses.
